This thesis, developed in collaboration with DB Systel GmbH, investigates the emerging and experimental combination of Kotlin Multiplatform and WebAssembly to build modern web and Android applications on a shared architectural and code foundation. The work evaluates the potential of this technology stack to enable highperformance, cross-platform applications and to support long-lasting, wellstructured software architectures. In addition, a Ktor-based reverse proxy and Docker-containerized components are integrated to create a realistic technical environment. A central aspect is the examination of how Clean Architecture principles can be implemented both in the browser using Kotlin-Wasm and on Android using Kotlin Multiplatform. The analysis explores how these technologies, despite their experimental state, support a unified structure, strong testability, and a clear separation between business logic and technical implementation. The work also investigates how the differing requirements and perspectives of key stakeholders, such as Product Owners, Business Consultants, and developers, can be incorporated into the management tool to facilitate efficient collaboration and consistent usage. Through model-based analysis, architectural design, UI prototyping, and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, this thesis provides a practical assessment of the current maturity of this ambitious technology combination and its potential for future cross-platform software development.
